SWIVEL ACTION
The swivel action itself is made from 1214L solid steel, shaped on an automatic CNC machine. (No castings) The internal lock parts and swivel release mechanism are assembled from standard parts which can be purchased at most muzzle loading supply stores, allowing replacement of lost or broken parts an easy task. All parts are top quality, professionally assembled, and the lock is "tuned." The tang, triggers and trigger guard, lock plate, swivel release plate, and barrels are attached to the action. This unit is all assembled and ready to fire.

BARRELS
The barrels are custom made for me by Getz Barrel Company and Green Mt. Barrel Company. Any barrels that are no larger than .850 at the breech end, straight or tapered will fit the action. (Nothing larger)

The following is what I recommend and supply with the kit:

.850 at the breech end tapered to .750 at the muzzle, in .50 or .54 cal, up to 32 inches long. With this combination the finished rifle will balance perfectly on the left hand when aiming, and weigh approximately eight and a half lbs. Both barrels can be rifled or both smooth, or one rifled and one smooth. The smooth .54 cal barrel (28 gauge) will shoot the same .530 ball, with a .020 patch. Extra barrels in different combinations are available and are easily changeable in five minutes on a finished rifle. Barrels are plugged with stainless steel for easy removal, using a 7/16 inch box wrench. Barrels are joined together, and touch holes are drilled (no liners). The barrels are attached to the action. 3/8 dove tails will be cut for sights unless otherwise requested.

STOCK
The stock is 95% pre-shaped, and can be adjusted to your preferred trigger pull. The wood is attached to the action, and the lock, release side plate, and frizzens are inlet. The wood barrel panels are precut and attached to the barrels. The nose cap is supplied but not attached. The only parts left to inlet are the tang, trigger, trigger guard, and butt plate.

HARDWARE
Butt plate, trigger guard, nose cap, and thimbles are available in steel or brass.

MISCELLANEOUS
Kit includes sights, screws, nose cap, and loading stick.
