Single Barrel for Father-Son Rifles
Two years after I finished building the swivel rifle set I
decided to build my son a single barreled rifle that would match his swivel breech rifle. All the carvings, engraving,
and silver are matched to the original rifles. Starting with a very special piece of curley maple stump wood, some Damascus
steel, and a 54 cal. barrel this is what I ended up with.
The new rifle is the one on top, the other one is my son’s
swivel breech rifle.
